Cor Cottage

Cor Cottage is an 18th-century former fisherman's home on Church Street in central Whitby, steps from Tate Hill beach and the cobbled lanes that lead to the 199 Steps. The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a kingsize on the top floor, a kingsize with ensuite on the first floor, and a double with a single on the first floor. There is a second bathroom with a bath. Downstairs you have a living room with a 32" TV and DVD player, plus a separate dining room and kitchen equipped for proper cooking—electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine all here.

The property is yours alone, with direct access to a private enclosed patio at the rear where you can sit with garden furniture. One allocated parking space is available (a 15-minute walk away, though you can drop off outside), and one small dog stays free. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included; gas central heating keeps things warm. There are four steps to the front entrance via Arguments Yard, and one step between the living room and dining room.

You're in the heart of old Whitby, within reach of shops, the harbour, and the medieval yards and alleyways that thread through the town. A highchair is available on request. No smoking.
