Honeyz Hideaway sits in the heart of Whitby on one of the town's oldest streets, housed in a Grade II listed building from the 1800s. The flat occupies the first and second floors above a shop, retaining original beamed ceilings alongside modern comforts. You're positioned almost at the foot of the 199 Steps, which climb to Whitby Abbey and St Mary's Church—landmarks that inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Downstairs is an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, one with two single beds. The flat sleeps four and comes with wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels. Parking is on the street or in a nearby public car park, with unloading access at the door. No smoking is permitted.

Whitby offers immediate access to the coast—long walks, hidden bays like Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes, and seaside attractions. The North York Moors National Park lies within reach, as do steam train rides through the region, the Cinder Track and Cleveland Way for walkers, and the National Cycle Network. Further afield are Captain Cook sites, Eden Camp Museum and various waterfall walks. A pub sits within a mile. The town hosts regular events including the Goth Weekend and Regatta.

What a fabulous place!! A beautiful apartment, the friendliest hosts in the world and a central setting in Whitby in walking distance of everything. Immaculately clean and very well equipped and we'll definitely be staying again x

What a lovely place to stay. The cottage large with plenty of space for the two of us and our dogue de bordeaux. It is spotlessly clean with modern good quality furniture throughout. The owner was warm and friendly. We enjoyed every minute.

A beautiful holiday home right in the heart of the town. Very warm and ‘homey’. We felt really comfortable and would 100 percent stay here again if we came back to Whitby and will recommend!
