Dove Cottage

Knaresborough sits on a bend of the River Nidd, and from Dove Cottage you can reach the town's main attractions on foot. Mother Shipton's Cave and the Petrifying Well are close by, as is the ruined castle perched on the clifftop above the water. The riverside walk makes for an easy afternoon stroll, and the town has a market on Wednesdays plus pubs and restaurants within a mile. The cottage itself is a one-bedroom property sleeping two, recently renovated and fitted out for self-catering.

The ground floor is open-plan living and kitchen. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave and washing machine, so you can cook or simply grab something from one of the nearby places to eat. Upstairs is a bedroom with a king-size bed and a shower room with a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. Note that the stairs are steep. One dog is welcome. There is limited free parking opposite the property, with unrestricted street parking 200 metres away.
