Friendship Cottage

Friendship Cottage is a mid-terraced property in the heart of Whitby, steps from the harbour and beach. Built as a fisherman's home, it retains period character while offering straightforward modern comfort. The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space with a working kitchen; upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a kingsize bed, one with bunks suited to children—and a shower room. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The cottage does not permit smoking, and is not suitable for children under two.

Whitby's town centre begins practically at the door: pubs, restaurants serving local seafood, antique shops and the beach lie within a few minutes' walk. The surrounding coastline offers plenty for walkers and cyclists, including access to the Cleveland Way on the cliffs. The North York Moors and nearby villages like Robin Hood's Bay, Staithes and Runswick Bay are all within easy reach, as are the heritage steam railways that run inland through the region. On-road parking is available, with scratch cards provided for payment.
