Lion Rock Cottage sits on the ground floor in central Whitby, a short walk from the seafront, abbey, and marina. The layout keeps everything accessible: living and dining space opens onto a kitchen fitted with electric cooking, and two bedrooms at the rear both have glass doors leading out to your own enclosed yard, where there's a table and chairs. One bedroom has a double bed, the other twin beds. The single bathroom has a shower. Wi-Fi and heating are included, along with bed linen and towels.
The town itself pulls in visitors year-round for its festivals, boat trips out to sea, and long stretches of beach. Pubs and fish and chip shops line the streets, and the surrounding coast holds a string of smaller resorts worth exploring. Parking is available for one car on a permit basis. One well-behaved pet stays free. No smoking inside the property.

High finish, great little 2 bed holiday flat. The issues were to do with instructions for hot water etc, despite a folder if info there are lots of notices and these can be missed. Also we had to call for assistance for small issues like wrong door combo and water issues If I could give 4 1\2 I would

Two bedroom holiday cottage just off Flowergate. We stayed for a week. We had everything we needed. The property was conveniently located within 10 minutes walk of the town, harbour and beach so ideal to explore all whitby has to offer. We had street parking discs and were able to park for free within 15 minute walk of the property. We would stay here again.
