Gowland Farm- Swallow’s Folly

Two miles from the North Yorkshire coast, between Whitby and Scarborough, Gowland Farm offers a cluster of converted stone farm buildings. Swallow's Folly is named for the birds that nest by its front door each summer. The surrounding countryside attracts deer from nearby woodland, and the setting is genuinely rural despite its proximity to the seaside.

The cottage sleeps two in a double bed on the ground floor, where you'll also find a kitchen with dining space under original beams, a shower room and a sitting area with a woodburner. Upstairs is a living room with countryside views. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer in a shared utility room, and private parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet stays free.

What distinguishes this property is access to the on-site heated indoor pool, kept at 28°C, along with a sauna, changing facilities and a games room with pool table and table tennis.
