Ham Hall Lane Cottages - Daisy
North Yorkshire
Both bedrooms at Daisy come with their own bathroom—each with a bath and walk-in shower—which makes a real difference when a group of four is sharing. The whole ground floor is open plan: a single flowing space that combines the kitchen, dining area and living room around a multi-fuel burner. Everything needed for self-catering is here, including a dishwasher, combi microwave and a wine cooler, plus a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The cottage sits on the edge of Northallerton, within easy reach of Bedale, Leyburn, Richmond and other market towns, and close enough to the A1 that the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors are straightforward to explore. The area suits walkers and cyclists particularly well. Wensleydale Railway, which runs from the Vale of Mowbray into the Dales themselves, is a popular local attraction. Each bedroom has a zip-and-link super king bed (which can split into singles if needed), and there's an enclosed garden with patio and parking for two cars. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included, as is the initial fuel for the burner. No smoking indoors.
