I had the most delicious meal on Saturday night. The salmon was cooked incredibly well (it was a big chunk), the vegetables were delicious and it came with new potatoes, which I couldn’t finish as I was pretty full after the salmon and vegetables. The creole sauce which came with the meal was absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend eating this meal in the restaurant

Just called here, Monday afternoon/lunchtime. Pub is very quaint with decent music playing. Had a couple of pints of Tetley smooth along with the "Monday pie and pint" deal. Had pork and black pudding pie with chips and pod peas. All was good, and very hot. The pie (which is made onsite) was excellent; full of meat and the gravy was really tasty. Pub is also dog friendly which is great. All in all a great pub 👍

We had a very nice family meal at the Old Royal George and Vicky and her staff were very helpful and friendly. The lady that served and looked after us was very busy and worked hard. We would definitely recommend The Old Royal George and we look forward to our next visit.
