Idagale

Idagale is a tall Victorian townhouse spread across five floors in Whitby town centre. The layout is distinctive: entry at street level leads to a ground-floor living room, with the kitchen and shower room accessed by stairs down, bedrooms distributed across the upper storeys, and a top-floor double with velux windows overlooking the roofline. Four bedrooms sleep six—two doubles and two singles—though one of the singles is only accessed through the other.

The kitchen has a gas cooker, dishwasher and microwave, with an extending dining table positioned by a gas heater. The ground-floor living room has leather seating arranged around a television. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. One dog stays free, and the surrounding streets have numerous walks, dog-friendly cafes and bars within easy reach. Whitby's seafront and harbour are within walking distance, with a programme of festivals, music events and seasonal attractions throughout the year. No smoking throughout.
