Indigo Blue

Indigo Blue is a shepherd's hut set in a private meadow on a working farm near Sleights, with mature trees overhead and rolling countryside visible across the fields. The entire space sits on one level: a compact kitchen with everything needed for self-catering, a bedroom with a double bed, and an en-suite shower room. A wood-burning stove warms the open-plan living area, which doubles as a sleeping and dining space. Outside, there's seating and a firepit, with parking for two cars on site. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; initial fuel for the stove is provided.

The location suits walkers and cyclists heading for the Cleveland Way or the Cinder Track, both nearby. Sleights village has a pub within a mile, and Whitby's harbour, abbey and seafood restaurants are within reach for a day out. The hut sits about five miles from the coast, with dark skies above making it a good spot for stargazing from the firepit. Access is by footpath, and the property is for non-smokers only.
