Mews Cottage

North Yorkshire

View on Google Maps

Couples and groups of up to six will find Mews Cottage works well for a Whitby stay. The property occupies a full four storeys worth of space across two floors, with high ceilings and large windows that flood the rooms with light. Downstairs, a generous living area has a feature fireplace and three leather sofas, while the kitchen and dining room combine with integrated appliances and a table where everyone can eat together. There's also a separate toilet and utility room on the ground floor, plus a compact single bedroom with a day bed. Upstairs, two double bedrooms and one single bedroom are arranged around a family bathroom with both a bath and shower cubicle; one of the doubles has an ensuite.

The cottage sits on a Georgian street in the town centre, with Pannett Park directly opposite. Whitby Museum is nearby, and the town's independent cafes, bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are all covered. Parking for two cars is on site—a genuine rarity in the town centre. The property does not allow smoking, and is not suitable for children under 18. A stone terrace at the front offers south-facing views across the park, with a garden bench for morning coffee or evening drinks.
