Number Five Retreat is a single bedroom cottage in Whitby for two people, recently refurbished and within a few minutes' walk of the seafront. The whole place is yours alone. It has one bedroom, one bathroom, and the essentials—electricity, bed linen and towels—are covered, so you arrive to a ready home.

The location puts you close to the harbour, the cafés and shops that line the town centre, and the coastal paths that run along the clifftops. Whitby itself draws walkers and history enthusiasts; the abbey ruins stand on the headland above, and the beach stretches along the bay. This is somewhere to base yourself for a few nights or longer, without needing a car for everyday exploration. No smoking inside the property.
