Rowan Cottage

North Yorkshire

View on Google Maps

Rolling moorland and woodland surround Rowan Cottage in the village of Healey, within easy reach of the market town of Masham and the Yorkshire Dales. The 1800s stone building sits on the edge of open fields, offering both a working village setting and genuine quiet—a combination that suits families or couples wanting to explore the region without being stranded in the middle of nowhere.

Two bedrooms sleep four: a kingsize bed upstairs and bunk beds in the second room. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. Downstairs, the living room has an open fire (fuel included to get you started), a Smart TV, and separate dining space. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge all there—so you can eat in or venture out. Wifi, electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all covered. There's parking for two cars on site, and a bike store if you're planning to explore on two wheels.

The cottage comes with its own gardens: a south-facing front with countryside views, and an enclosed back garden backing onto fields, with barbecue and seating. The village pub is within a mile. One pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
