Sheep Dip Cottage
North Yorkshire
Farmland rolls away behind this converted barn in the North York Moors, where a sweeping valley of rural countryside frames the property on all sides. The setting is genuinely quiet; the National Park here has some of Britain's darkest skies, far from light pollution. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed garden, overlooking the open landscape.
Five bedrooms and four bathrooms spread across two floors mean there is genuine comfort for a group of twelve. Ground level holds an expansive open-plan space with windows on both sides and doors to the garden—a woodburner, smart TV, and a long dining table handle the communal living. One bedroom with an in-room bath sits on this floor, each of the other four upstairs has its own shower. The kitchen runs to an induction hob, range cooker, dishwasher and American fridge, plus a separate coffee machine. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; heating comes from solar panels beneath the floors.
Private parking takes five cars. The property does not allow smoking. Couples and families wanting serious space for a gather will find what they need; the barn's scale and the valley setting make it genuinely different from a typical holiday rental.
