The Bolt Hole is a ground-floor apartment carved from a Victorian townhouse on North Marine Road, its period character marked by high ceilings and bay windows. The whole place is yours alone, accessed via a shared hallway. Three steps lead to the entrance; everything inside sits on one level. There is one bedroom with a kingsize bed, an ensuite shower, and a separate toilet. The living and dining space has a sofa that converts to a bed for children, a dining table for four, and a Freeview Smart TV. The galley kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, so you can cook or simply reheat takeaway fish and chips from the seafront.
Off-road parking for one car comes with your stay. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are provided, along with gas central heating. Scarborough's seafront is a ten-minute walk away—both main beaches, the ruined castle on the headland, the oriental gardens and open-air theatre are all close by. The town centre sits within easy reach. One dog is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
