The Dalesbred Hut
North Yorkshire

The Dalesbred Hut suits couples and small groups wanting countryside seclusion without isolation. This shepherd's hut sits on a working sheep and beef farm in Rathmell, a village within the Yorkshire Dales National Park, positioned so neighbours aren't visible. Everything is on the ground floor: a combined living and dining space with woodburner and smart TV, an open kitchen with electric hob and full appliances, a double bedroom, and a walk-in shower room. Underfloor heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all provided, along with fuel for the woodburner and a welcome pack.
The location puts you within reach of Settle and Skipton's market towns, and walking distance of the Ribbleway footpath. The Yorkshire Three Peaks, Malham Cove, Bolton Abbey, Gisburn Forest and Ribblehead Viaduct are all nearby. There's private parking for two cars, a bike store, and an outdoor space with table and chairs. No smoking inside the hut. If you need more space, two other shepherd's huts on the same farm can be booked separately to sleep larger groups.
