Step through the door of The Swaledale Hut and you're in one open room that does the work of three. A living area with Smart TV and sofa bed sits next to a dining space and kitchen, where you can cook on an electric hob and use a combi oven and grill. Beyond this main space is a separate bedroom with a double bed, and a wet room with walk-in shower. Everything runs on electricity with underfloor heating, and the essentials—bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi—are provided. One one-bedroom layout, one bathroom, one private entrance, all to yourselves.
The hut sits on a working sheep and beef farm near Rathmell, a small village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You get private parking for two cars, a bike store, and outdoor space with a table and chairs for eating breakfast or sitting out. The location puts you within reach of Settle and Skipton, and close enough to walk sections of the Ribbleway footpath. One dog is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
