The Old Cart House is a one-bedroom apartment in converted mill buildings near Malton, where a pub sits within easy walking distance and the surrounding North Yorkshire countryside is on your doorstep. The property sleeps two in a double bedroom with a shower room attached, and the open-plan living space has a kitchen for self-catering, a sofa and Smart TV for evenings in. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided.
This is a rural location with access to stream-side paths and open space around the property. A communal barbecue and picnic area are available during summer months. The building dates from its time as a working mill, before being converted after the Second World War. No smoking is permitted inside. Access to the property involves steps.

A perfect spot for a family to visit surrounding areas ie. York, Richmond, Whitby. Hosts were lovely. House was nicely set up, clean and tidy. Appreciated fresh bread and freshly churned butter

Beautiful cozy little cottage. 5 of us stayed here 1/3/19. 10 mins away from Flamingo land. Absolutely spotless. Provided fresh baked bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee and cereals. Beautiful surroundings with a friendly dog and cat on the grounds. So cute :)

Warmly home from home. Excellent hosts also made sure we had everything we required. I was amazed to see that it was still available prior to booking as it is tremendous value for money and close to flamingo land ( half term folly ). Would definitely stay again and recommend. Remote and scenic that's nice and quiet. Perfect family trip with the kids.
