The Old Cart Shed started life as a working farm building and has been converted into holiday accommodation for groups of seven. Three bedrooms are spread across two floors: a kingsize and single on the first floor share the main bathroom, while upstairs you get another kingsize, two singles, and a separate shower room. The ground floor also holds a living and dining space with a woodburner, and a kitchen equipped for self-catering—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and the rest. Electricity, heating and bed linen are included; wifi is available throughout.
The property sits within a working farm's grounds, surrounded by open countryside. One well-behaved dog can stay with you. Parking on site covers two cars, and there's a paved patio with garden furniture. The location puts you within reach of the North Yorkshire coast—nearby Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay are popular draws—and the Cleveland Way is accessible for walkers. Cycle hire, horse riding, golf and sailing are all close by, as is a miniature railway at Ruswarp.
