Walnut Cottage

Walnut Cottage sits within the North York Moors, part of a converted farmstead surrounded by 4 acres of grounds. The woodland that frames the property feeds into a network of established walks and cycle tracks linking Broxa Forest and Harwood Dale Forest, making it a natural base for exploring the landscape on foot or by bike. Children's play equipment and a fenced pond are on site, along with shared games facilities including a pool table.

The cottage itself is a single-storey barn conversion with two bedrooms—one with a king bed, one with two singles—each with its own shower room and toilet. The living space combines a sitting room with a woodburner and Smart TV, and a kitchen and dining area fitted for proper cooking. An enclosed patio with garden furniture and barbecue opens onto the grounds, and a private hot tub is available for an additional charge. One car can park on the property. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included; initial logs for the fire are provided. One dog is welcome. The woodland contains an unfenced stream, so supervision of young children is needed in that area.
