You step straight into the living room of this 1850s cottage, where a wood burner and smart TV dominate a space built for settling in. The kitchen runs alongside—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and washer dryer all fitted in—while a ground-floor shower room with heated towel rail means you don't have to trek upstairs in the night. Two bedrooms occupy the first floor: the master has a king bed and ensuite shower; the second, a double. Both are dressed in fresh cotton.
The cottage sits in the village of Middlesmoor, near Pateley Bridge in Upper Nidderdale. Oil heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi come as standard; the wood burner's initial fuel is included. A pub lies within a mile. The front garden has seating and countryside views; public car parks are nearby. One dog stays free. No smoking is permitted.
