The cottage sits on a working mixed farm two miles north of Alnwick, reached down a country lane. You have an enclosed garden with seating and a barbecue, parking for two cars, and one well-behaved dog stays free. The setting is quiet and rural, though the Northumberland coast with its beaches is a short drive away, as are castles, stately homes and other attractions. Alnwick itself, famous for its castle and the Duchess's water gardens, is close enough for an easy trip out. Golf and horse riding are available nearby, and shops and pubs are two miles away. No smoking inside the property.
