Holly Cottage

Holly Cottage is a converted stone building with its own entrance through an arched doorway. The ground floor is one open space: a living area with a woodburner and Freeview TV, a dining area, and a kitchen with an electric oven, hob and dishwasher. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a king and a single—each with its own ensuite shower room. The master bedroom has exposed beams. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and logs for the woodburner are included.

The property sits in Longhoughton village near St Peter's and St Paul's Church. Behind the cottage is an enclosed garden with furniture, large enough for children and pets to use freely. There is parking for one car on site. No smoking inside.

Alnwick, a market town with shops, restaurants and pubs, lies 4 miles west; Alnwick Castle and its gardens are nearby attractions. The coast at Embleton is a mile away, with a beach of golden sand. The Northumberland Heritage Coast to the east and the Cheviot Hills to the west are both within reach for day trips. A shop is 150 yards from the door.
