Hotspur View

Hotspur View is a Grade II listed Victorian property tucked into Alnwick's old town centre, where cobbled streets and period architecture create the backdrop to a stay near one of England's most recognisable castles. The building itself is characterful, reached by nine front steps or a rear ramp, and contains everything needed for a self-contained break: two bedrooms sleep four, there is one bathroom, and the kitchen handles proper cooking with a full oven, hob, dishwasher and fridge. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided.

The ground floor holds a comfortable sitting room with a smart TV, and a kitchen-diner that opens onto a private back garden with patio furniture and a sitting area. Upstairs, one bedroom has a kingsize bed and the other two singles; both offer good storage. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. One dog stays free and gets a welcome pack; there is parking for one car on site and a bike store, too.

Alnwick Castle sits moments away on foot, and the Northumberland coast and countryside are within reach for exploring. The town itself has independent shops, restaurants and a strong market heritage. No smoking indoors.
