Juliet Cottage is a late-Georgian townhouse in the heart of Alnwick, a five-minute walk from the castle. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms—a king and a bunk room—with one bathroom upstairs and a living area with gas fire on the ground floor. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. There's a rear patio with garden furniture and on-road parking outside.
Alnwick Castle dominates the town and is worth seeing for its own sake; it doubled as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. The Alnwick Garden is equally famous for its formal gardens, Grand Cascade waterfall and the largest tree house in Europe. The coast lies four miles east at Alnmouth, with a sandy beach and the beginning of Northumberland's Heritage coastline. To the west, Rothbury sits in the shadow of the Simonside Hills. The cottage is no-smoking throughout.
