Very nice stay here super comfy beds hot shower and heating, location itaelf is mins walk from shops pubs etc, stopped over for a night as its close to plenty of stunning places to go hiking. Basic rooms great price and a very helpful host.

Buyer’s Remorse. My fiancé and I were looking forward to celebrating our pre-honeymoon in Alnwick at the Georgian Guest House until we saw our unclean room. We checked in at the same time as another couple and when they opened the door to their room they said ‘it’s ok, at least we have our own toilet and shower.’ Not good or great, just ‘ok.’ There was hair on our toilet and sink and the sink clogged as soon as we ran the water. The caulking on the bottom of the shower was also molding. The caulking and greasy carpets desperately need replaced. We reached out to the manager, but she didn’t respond to us for days and she was condescending when she replied ‘enjoy your trip.’ It was already ruined. Unfortunately, we had to seek lodging elsewhere without even a partial reimbursement of our deposit and we were unable to tour the castle grounds that we flew 10 hours to see and were so looking forward to. I feel as if potential guests deserve a warning when considering this B&B.

Just stayed last min for one night. The owner, Tracey, was so so helpful and really lovely on the phone. Even sent me a txt with local recommendations, which we did eat and drink at! The room was lovely clean and very comfortable and spacious. We had everything needed! The shower wasn't great it was hot, hot, or freezing, but all was good. Perfect location Great last min find for a road trip Friday weekend!

Excellent location close to Alnick Castle and Gardens. Room a little dated and toilet access might be an issue for anyone with mobility issues due to downward slope. Shower area located separately and a bit narrow. Polite friendly staff onsite. Overall a good place to stay for a short break.
