Northumberland's countryside around Newton-on-the-Moor offers easy reach to both the Heritage Coast and the rolling inland landscape. The Workshop sits on the owner's smallholding, a single-storey cottage set among 22 acres where guests can wander the fields, visit the resident donkeys and mules, or explore the ponds and streams. One bedroom sleeps two, with a zip-and-link bed that can be configured as a super kingsize or as two singles. The shower room is compact; the open-plan living space has a kitchen, dining area and lounge all on the ground floor, with exposed beams and flagged stone floors throughout.
A south-facing garden with patio and seating extends from the living area, enclosed and private. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals. Heating, hot water, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included; the property has private parking for two cars and an electric vehicle charging point available by arrangement. One well-behaved pet stays free. Smoking is not permitted indoors. For eating out, a highly regarded pub and restaurant is about a mile away in Newton-on-the-Moor itself.
