Northumberland's quiet countryside surrounds this ground-floor cottage, though you're only a short drive from several major draws: Holy Island's causeway, Bamburgh's castle and coast, Wooler at the foot of the Cheviots, and the climbing sites at Kyloe. Lowick village is a couple of miles away for everyday needs. The setting works well for walkers, cyclists and those after genuine peace and quiet away from busier tourist routes.
The cottage is open-plan throughout—living, dining and kitchen in one airy space with a woodburner at its centre, full-length glass doors opening onto a private patio. One double bedroom and a spacious shower room complete the layout. Everything you need is provided: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi, plus logs for the burner. There's parking for one car on site. The property is all accessible from one step at ground level, though the surrounding grounds slope away towards a small burn, which affects suitability for very young children.
