Wide Sky Cottages - Spindlestone is a single-storey cottage sleeping two, set on the edge of woodland with parking on site. The space comprises a living and dining room with a 40-inch television and woodburner, a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge, one bedroom with a kingsize bed and television, and a bathroom with a spa bath and shower. Bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with heating and the initial logs for the fire. A freezer and washing machine are available for shared use with the adjacent property.

The cottage opens onto a patio with garden furniture overlooking grounds that slope down to a small stream. The location sits roughly ten minutes' drive from the Northumberland coast; Berwick-on-Tweed is ten miles away and Alnwick, with its castle and gardens, is 22 miles. Inland, the Cheviot Hills offer walking and the area has cycling routes, climbing at Kyloe Crags, and fishing and golf nearby. The shop, pub and restaurant in the village are two miles away. The open grounds nearby include a sloped embankment down to the burn, so the property is not suitable for babies and young children. Smoking is not permitted.
