What guests say
Very warm welcome on arrival, on Thursday, for a three night stay. Our room was as we expected. After a long drive, we booked for dinner. Food was nice. The limited menu made selecting limited. We had a very busy days on Friday and Saturday, and therfore decided to have dinner on both evenings. Surprised that there were no changes to the menu, really disappointing. Loads of bits, but no proper meals. Prices are not cheap though. The main courses didn't feature any meat, apart from some chicken in a risotto. On Saturday evening, the staff changed and the food was not very good. I had fish pie on Thursday and again on Saturday, due to limited menu. Thursday was delicious, Saturday lacking fish and it seemed filled with left overs. A good start, but a poor finish. Bar prices are stiff. Not an unpleasant stay, but not the best. My tip, nice restaurant, do a better menu for the prices.

This hotel is very conveniently located to explore Norwich, only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The breakfast is superb, I loved the fresh fruit salad and the full English breakfast and the waitress during the week (I think her name was Diana), gave a friendly and welcoming service. There is a pleasant outdoor courtyard area with seating and a fish pond where you can relax on a sunny morning/afternoon. Although we didn't make use of it, the hotel bar area and lounge next door, looked very welcoming. We stayed in an executive room in the Coach House area of the hotel which was spacious with a good shower and a comfortable king sized bed. The only slight downside was that due to our room being upstairs, it did get quite hot and stuffy and when we opened windows to get some fresh air, we got traffic noise. There is a fan supplied however which you can make use of. Overall however, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We found the hotel clean and welcoming throughout. The staff were very helpful and we felt nothing was too much trouble. Food was very good and well presented. Short walk to town, good bus route from outside. Thank you.

We had not tried a Best Western before. This was date night, a time in our schedules when we are within an hour of each other The bed was very comfortable and huge! Friendly staff at check in and a good location to walk into Norwich. Would definitely stay again, if we ever find that golden hour.
