Fabulous! Staff are very great helpful, the bedroom is very nice and clean, looks so luxurious thought! The bathroom was lovely. Breakfast is awesome, but the tea taste is quite awful, like tap water. The outlet for the local shopping is amazing. Unfortunately, some place a bit of a mess of demolished buildings, heh!! 😞 Evening meals are very spectacular tasty! 😎👌🌟 We're wonderful staying at a hotel. We're trust be booked again. Absolutely awesome. 😎🌟

The hotel kindly arranged a room with a large window and a lovely view overlooking the Council House. The location is excellent, right in the city centre and very close to the main attractions. The room and bed were both spacious. Breakfast was good, with a wide variety of fruit. Overall, it was a very comfortable and convenient stay.

The room was lovely. The first morning the breakfast were really nice but the second morning I had the impression the breakfast staff didn't want me there. They stuck me and my partner on a tiny table next to the entrance but when new guest arrived they got to pick where they wanted to sit. It was a buffet breakfast so when we finished a small plate and went to get some more food they cleared the table clean including our coffees which we hadn't even started because we were waiting for them to cool down. The rest of the staff for the hockey weekend were really nice. Just sucks that that breakfast team just didn't like the look of me

PROS: - Friendly staff - Clean room - Central location - Secure parking CONS: - Rooms are tired and in desperate need of refurbishment (if mine was anything to go by) - and mine was a ‘superior room’ but the tatty decor was much closer to what you’d expect to find in a hostel - Parking is expensive at £20 per night - I don’t know why hotels think it is ok for charging you extra just for the ability to arrive in a car when you are staying with them - Bar is soulless and depressing. It is the last place on Earth you’d want to hang out in with friends - At breakfast they give you tiny plates to use for the buffet, which are not only difficult and quite stressful to try and eat on but indicates that they are tight and want you to eat as little as possible and therefore minimise the enjoyment of your breakfast - Nobody to meet you when you enter the breakfast area (which is in the depressing bar area) so you have to just go try and find space and quickly secure the table by adding a juice or something
