Absolutely OUTSTANDING! I was so lucky to come here for my birthday with friends and I cannot wait to come back again. A few days prior to our booking, the restaurant called to confirm attendance with my friend and also gave advice on how to utilise their 'Golden Hour' for cocktails. When I arrived I was greeted by the lovely hostess who took my coat and led me to the lounge to wait for the rest of my friends. The lounge was a decent level of noise and the waiting staff were very knowledgeable about drinks and were very good at recommending drinks to my taste. I had the 'Sgroppino' which I have not stopped thinking about. There is an open kitchen which was nice. Our waiter for dinner, Hosea, was incredible! He was extremely polite and attentive and ensured we had a smooth experience - MASSIVE shoutout to him! The portions were very filling and the food was fresh and very tasty. As a group of 3 we ordered the prawn crudo, steak tartare and grilled peppers to start and the bouillabaisse as a main to share with focaccia. The bouillabaisse was incredible and I highly recommend for everyone to try this. I cannot wait to come back again

Enjoyed on its own, it delivers a rich, savoury depth, but when paired with the berries, the bright fruitiness elevates the delicate flavour of the fish and really awakens the palate. 🐂 Beef Fillet Tartare You can immediately taste the quality and tenderness of the beef. As it’s made with fresh meat rather than aged cuts, the texture is softer and less firm, though the seasoning is perfectly balanced and very well executed. Mains – Ask the sommelier for a wine pairing 🍷 🐟 Grilled Cornish Cod This dish feels like a wonderful Anglo-West African fusion. It features lovely garlicky notes on top, while the vibrant, spiced yellow sauce underneath reminds me of flavours from Akoko — absolutely delicious and perfectly suited to Chinese palates. 🦆 Confit Duck Leg Unlike the pre-prepared versions you often find elsewhere, this duck leg tastes freshly made to order. The meat is beautifully tender and falls off the bone, with orange zest adding a bright, aromatic lift that complements the rich flavour perfectly. Desserts – Best enjoyed with a pot of hot tea 🍮 Vanilla Crème Brûlée Just the right level of sweetness, with a wonderfully rich date flavour running through it. A lovely, comforting choice to round off the meal. 🍓 Strawberry Sorbet Packed with intense, fresh strawberry flavour. The berry compote beneath is perfectly balanced between sweet and tart — ideal for cleansing and refreshing the palate at the end.

The service was highly professional and welcoming. Even without a reservation, we were able to get a spot, and after enjoying a drink at the bar, we were seated at our table. The whole atmosphere is fantastic, with a beautiful view over Islington. The food was excellent from start to finish. Definitely a place worth visiting and enjoying, highly recommended!

What an absolutely amazing culinary experience at the sky-high restaurant of Art Hotel London! With snow falling outside, the cod and lamb chops were absolute classics. Great attention was clearly paid to the exquisite sauces. The bartender is highly professional, and my drink was pretty strong. Had such a lovely time enjoying drinks and food with friends.
