Great historical Hall, undergoing restorations. We spent an interesting few hrs here,in the Hall and garden. There is a tea room, with reasonably priced refreshments and snacks. Donations are gladly accepted and much deserved

Great visit to Ordsall Hall today. We jumped the Tram from Piccadilly Gardens up to Exchange Quay the it was a little walk across Monmouth Park to the Hall which is situated close to a housing estate. Entrance was FREE so amazing value there However only by your support that this fine example of a Tudor building exists so donations helps in a really big way. There are toilets here plus a gift shop and a really nice cafe that serves excellent coffee. All the staff at Ordsall Hall are amazing so friendly and helpfull and a wealth of knowledge in the history of the Hall. What was really nice to see there was a school day trip that were investigating the hall where they were really enjoying Learning about a the history of the hall and different era, we caught them having there lunch in the orchard garden. Extra effort was made by having there guides dressed in costume. The Hall itself is beautiful with so many rooms to explore I would give yourself at least a couple of hours to take it all in. All in all well worth a visit easily accessible from the city centre. Great staff that brings the history of this Tudor building to life. Manchester could of lost this little gem was it not for Salford Council saving it. So welldone to them in saving the history of Ordsall Hall so future generations can enjoy going back in time.
