Ensuite glamping cabins along the Isle of Lewis' coast and beaches with access to a BBQ hut for parties.

About Hebridean Huts

Perched along the Isle of Lewis coastline, Hebridean Huts offers ensuite glamping cabins where Atlantic views and beach access come as standard. Each hut is self-contained with shower and toilet, giving you proper comfort after days exploring the island's wild beaches and standing stones. The shared BBQ hut makes a convivial spot for groups to gather, though note there's no WiFi—which many will see as a bonus in such a remote, beautiful setting.

Open year-round, the site doesn't accept pets, but the trade-off is a peaceful, well-maintained retreat. Guests consistently praise the immaculate facilities and stunning location, with some describing it as one of the Hebrides' hidden gems. It's a straightforward, thoughtfully run base for anyone serious about exploring the Outer Hebrides without sacrificing a hot shower and a proper bed.

What a stunning environment for a relaxing stay. Iain the host meet us on arrival and showed us to the hut he checked with us during our stay to make sure we had everythingwe needed. It had every comfort that a traveller needs, clean, modern, fantastic shower, comfortable beds and a view to remember. The welcome basket was a lovely gesture with all local treats. Thank you Iain for a special 5 day stay in your piece of heaven. Highly recommend a stay at Hebridean Huts

My friend and I stayed at Harebell hut last week. On arrival the hut was immaculate, welcoming, all of the small touches had been thought of (kettle filled, biscuits, cake and prosecco in the hut from local producers) we were immediately relaxed! The hut itself was fantastic so peaceful, the bathroom in the hut was perfect. Everything we could have required was there, fantastic level of local info and guidence in the visitors folder, binoculars to see the sea eagles (we saw 2) and a lovely warm shower. Cooking facilities in the hut were great, beautiful stoneware crockery. The view was just breathtaking out of every window. While there we had car trouble and Iain was so helpful in our hour of need! Will definitely recommend and return! Thank you for a stay we will remember:)

We have just returned home, with our batteries recharged, from a two night stay in the Heather Hut at Hebridean Huts on Lewis. It was an absolute delight to stay there. The hut was superb, lovely and cosy, sitting right on the coast. Waking up to views of the ocean and black sheep grazing right outside your window was so relaxing. We also used the BBQ hut and had a lovely evening there. This is one place we will definitely revisit. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended.

The hut was presented so lovely on our arrival and the owners welcome pack was so sweet. They contain everything you need to cook/clean etc. The views out to the ocean were amazing, you could lie in your bed and look out to the waves crashing on the cliffs. We had one stormy night whilst staying and it was amazing to be wrapped up and cosy looking out to the storm. Would highly recommend Hebridean huts to anyone visiting the Island!
