What visitors say
Excellent tour provided by City Sightseeing Oxford! The experience took us through the most important places in Oxford, offering an insightful perspective on the city’s history, culture, and beauty. We are thankful for all the services given by the staff, the manager and the bus driver, they were polite and helpful.

Oxford is one of the best sightseeing experiences in England. The hop on/hop off bus tour is possibly the easiest and most informative in the country. One can tour all 39 colleges on the tour and obtain a very informative educational experience. Highly recommend stopping and visiting Christ College (not only inspired Alice in Wonderland and Harry Potter, but arguably one of the more beautiful colleges). Christ college was built by Henry VIII and where 13 Prime Ministers studied. Oxford can boast 30 PMs studied at one of the Oxford colleges. One may also have a pint at the same pub where JR Tolkien and CS Lewis frequented. Oxford offers a fantastic pedestrian only street in the center of town. Parking is challenged, but I recommend parking by the train station which also serves as a bus starting point for the city tour which lasts approximately 45 minutes with a bus passing every 20 minutes.

Staff helpful and friendly. We boarded the bus and was informed we can still upgrade from 24hrs to 48hrs if we wished for x amount, and we did! Great service and tour! Would recommend.

Fabulous tour whilst in Oxford today, lasted approximately one hour. The price of £19.00 per person included a map and headphones for an audio guide and you can also show your ticket at the information centre for a free walking tour with a guide that lasts approximately 45mins. A big shout out to Jeremy our guide who was super knowledgeable and really friendly! I would also like to call out the charming young man who sold us the bus tickets at bus stop thirteen, he was so attentive and provided us with lot's of useful information. I would highly recommend!
