Excellent location as quiet & there is bus stop 1 min away to take you into the centre or on the opposite side you can get bus to Blenheim palace for a concert. The hotel is a very beautiful building & spotless. Great size room & will stay there again when going to another concert at Blenheim palace

We had a wonderful stay at 100 Banbury Road. Costa was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making everything feel easy leading up to check in and from the moment we arrived. The accommodation itself was exceptionally clean, and perfectly convenient for getting into the centre of Oxford. The bed was wonderfully comfy and it was great to have tea and coffee facilities available. The addition of a fan was much appreciated with the warm weather. Overall, a really comfortable and enjoyable stay — highly recommended and thank you again Costa!

I spent a few nights at 100 Banbury Road during a conference and I have to say it was the perfect choice for me. The room was small but cozy and had everything I needed, including a very good shower and a versatile little desk. The bed was very comfortable and the room absolutely clean. Checkin was uncomplicated and excellent and I got asked every single morning by the owner how my stay was and if everything was all right. Internet quality was also quite good. The radiator could be adjusted to ones liking and was very responsive. There was also a comfortable lounge area downstairs and a large garden, both of which I did not really use as I was busy at the conference. There is no breakfast at the hotel (this was clear to me when booking) but the room was equipped with a hot water kettle and an ample supply of coffee and tea, which was great. Also, the house is within comfortable walking-distance of the city center and the colleges. There would have been several bus lines going to the city center as well, but as the weather was nice, I always walked through the lovely neighbourhood. The neighbourhood was very quiet and I was glad that I had booked a room a little outside of the busy city center. The only thing to be aware of is that the walls appear to be a little thin and during the first night I could hear someone snoring next door, but it did not bother me. Also, be aware that there is no lift, so one does have to carry the luggage up the stairs (just in case you are travelling with heavy luggage). Overall, I would fully recommend this hotel and absolutely book again when staying in Oxford.

It is different from most other hotels as there is no reception and to my knowledge no staff around although there was a contact number for any queries. This was our second time staying at the hotel. The instructions of how to get into the building and retrieving your room entry card was easy and well explained. The building is a typically grand north Oxford Victorian house. An easy walk to the town centre or lots if buses. Our room was a bit small but fine. We stayed in a larger one last time. Maybe getting to the stage when it will require a bit of an update. Overall a well priced and fairly basic hotel in a very good location.
