Absolutely stunning hotel! Lovely location. Convenient location to get the bus into the centre. Bus stop just around the corner. Buses quite frequent. Was really helpful that we could park our car there before check in while we explored Oxford. As soon as we arrived there, we enjoyed a latte in the lovely seating area outside. Lovely bar area and dining area. Really classy decor. Rooms stunning. Beds really comfortable. We all had a great night's sleep. Nice added touch of biscuits in addition to coffee and tea. Good quality curtesy shampoo etc. Great shower, easy to use. Fantastic choice of breakfast! I chose the avocado and poached egg on sourdough toast. Full English and vegetarian full English available. Good choice of continental breakfast to choose from as well as your choice of cooked breakfast. The whole hotel spotless and the staff were extremely welcoming! I am seriously considering staying over here again! I would highly recommend it!

Our second stay, but this time with a full family to attend our daughter's wedding. We booked 3 rooms, all were spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Dinner in the restaurant was absolutely delicious, as was breakfast with choices galore. What made our stay was the staff. From booking to leaving they could not have been more welcoming, flexible and understanding. The reception staff were amazing at helping us with our short notice requests. The catering staff are not only brilliant but were also so accommodating to our needs. The house keeping staff could not have been more helpful and have an excellent attention to detail. The staff made our daughter's preparations for her wedding exceptionally easy and we cannot thank them enough. Everyone was so kind, polite, friendly and caring. Definitely all of them are a cut above the norm and make everyone's stay so special. Free parking is a definite bonus for a hotel within walking distance of the City. Thank you.

This hotel has a beautiful period building but the rooms need a bit of a refurbishment. The parking is ample and the friendly and helpful front desk staff quickly dealt with any queries. It’s a great location for a short walk into the city. I haven’t tried the breakfast so I can’t comment on that but the late-night bar service was disappointing. I was served by someone who had never made a drink before. Overall, it’s a convenient location with parking for a short stay but it’s a bit dated in places.

I stayed at the Cotswold hotel last Friday for two nights and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly—nothing was too much trouble for them. My room was impressively large and spacious, which made for a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend dining at the hotel; I ate in the restaurant one night and the food was excellent. Afterward, the bar area was the perfect spot to unwind—it's very cosy and warm. The hotel has a lovely overall feel to it, and having parking available on-site was a huge plus for Oxford.
