An absolutely wonderful hotel. A great, quiet location with an easy and pleasant walk into town by different routes. There is a bus stop very nearby, too. The room was very spacious with a nice, modern bathroom. Lovely breakfasts in the conservatory - able to cater for a range of dietary needs, including vegan. The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed twice in May 2026 (once for two nights and once for one night). We enjoyed our stay very much. The room was very generous in size and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated having a fridge in the room and coffee pods, tea and biscuits available. We are early risers and so we were only able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast once. Instead we opted to make our own simple breakfast in the room. A 7am start time for breakfast rather than 8am would have allowed us to partake all three mornings. Regardless, the morning we did eat in the dining area, the options were quite varied and included many gluten free choices for my celiac husband. We will definitely stay there again.

Lovely clean room and comfortable bed, staff were very welcoming and helpful too. Breakfast was self service continental style but with a few hot options too and tasty. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the city centre or there are frequent buses which are helpful.
