What guests say
This hotel does what it says on the tin. You know what you’re getting with a Hilton. The rooms are clean and functional, and the hotel overall is decent. It’s not great. It’s not bad, but it does what it needs to do. The staff were friendly and it had parking available. Location is a bit out of the way for what I needed but it’s all relative. The only thing that was meh, was the breakfast. It’s mainly self serve with tubs of Quaker Oats, and a cooked breakfast laid out. Sausages were lower quality and the scrambled eggs looked like they’d been cooked in a volcano for too long. At this price I do expect a better breakfast. Also, the pillows weren’t amazing

I had a fantastic experience at Hampton by Hilton. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The customer service was excellent throughout my visit. A special thank you to Rohan, Shivam, and Mrinal, who truly made my stay feel like home away from home. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help with anything I needed made a real difference. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, and the overall hospitality exceeded my expectations. Thank you to Hampton by Hilton and to all the staff for such a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again! Noreen

Conveniently located next to Kassam Stadium, this hotel is easy to reach on the south side of Oxford and offers plenty of on-site parking (just remember to register your vehicle at reception). Check-in is friendly and efficient, with staff acknowledging Hilton Honors members, which is always a nice touch. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with plenty of power outlets, a large TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities. However, there’s no fridge and no complimentary biscuits, which feels like a small omission. The bathroom in my room was shower-only but well laid out and perfectly functional. The hotel has a small gym for basic workouts. The on-site restaurant is quite limited in the evenings, offering mainly pizza and wings. That said, this isn’t really an issue thanks to the excellent selection of food options next door in the entertainment complex, including an Asian buffet, Italian dining, and various bar-food venues. Food deliveries are also welcome, and staff are happy to provide plates and cutlery so you can eat comfortably in the restaurant area. Breakfast is a definite highlight, with a much more substantial full buffet selection that’s a clear step up from the evening offering. As the hotel sits directly beside the football stadium, I’d expect it to be very busy on match days. It’s also adjacent to a large Vue Cinema-led entertainment complex featuring bowling, indoor golf, arcade games, laser tag, a football shop, and multiple bars and restaurants—making it a great base if you’re looking for entertainment right on your doorstep. Overall, a practical and comfortable stay in a lively location, especially well suited for events, matches, or a convenient overnight stop.
