Burton Ferry Holiday Cottages - Trinity Cottage
Pembrokeshire
The Cleddau estuary near Neyland is quiet enough for peaceful breaks, but close to boat launches and river trips. Trinity Cottage occupies walled grounds on the water's edge, part of a small holiday complex with shared leisure facilities that include a heated indoor swimming pool (April to October), sauna, Jacuzzi and gym. A games room has snooker, pool and table tennis. The cottage itself is three bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping six—a double bed upstairs, and two rooms with single beds. Downstairs, the living and dining space has a TV and DVD player; the kitchen is fitted with an induction hob, dishwasher, microwave and other essentials for self-catering. Bed linen and wi-fi are included. One well-behaved pet stays free.
The grounds themselves matter here. Terraced seating areas, landscaped gardens with water features, and private parking create a retreat feel. There is an unfenced lily pond in the grounds, so families with young children should be aware of that, and of the open jetty and sea walls nearby. The patio adjoins the cottage, with garden furniture for outdoor time. Smoking is not permitted indoors. Neyland town centre is two and a half miles away—a small place with a butcher, newsagent, pharmacy and post office. Pembroke Dock, two miles in the other direction, has supermarkets and banks. Launching facilities for boats are 200 yards away; a floating pontoon sits 50 yards from the property.
