The Hays
Pembrokeshire
The Hays is a ground-floor annexe near the Cleddau Estuary in Pembrokeshire, sleeping two people. From here you can watch boats moving with the tides, see the sunrise and sunset reflected across the water, and reach a riverside restaurant on foot in ten minutes. That restaurant has a garden down to the foreshore and a summer pontoon for crabbing; the shingle beach below is where kayakers launch onto the estuary. A short drive inland brings you to Pembroke and its castle, birthplace of Henry VII.
The single bedroom has a kingsize bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly: oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. There is a living room with a television and electric fire. Outside is a private garden with patio, furniture and a barbecue. Parking for two cars is on site. Electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; there is also a welcome pack.
Cyclists can reach the Brunel Trail from nearby Neyland—it runs through Westfield Pill Nature Reserve and connects to Haverfordwest via Johnston. The property is no-smoking throughout.
