Lovely, peaceful and well kept site, good sized pitches giving a feeling of spaciousness with views over the valley to Lazonby. Great walks from the site and a lovely play area for young children. Modern and clean facilities with friendly and helpful owners, nothing was too much trouble for them.

The campsite has several fields and offers varied types of pitches and accommodations. We enjoyed a whole field with only a couple other campers during a 2-night, midweek booking on one of the hottest days in June. The site has access to the river Eden and there are even steps to allow easy access for swimmers. The owners are charming and helpful. We enjoyed a circular heritage walk from the campsite with the assistance of an article kept at reception. Highly recommended!

An absolute gem of a campsite. I cycled coast to coast and found this site by chance and at last minute. The day I arrived there was a mini festival happening, which happens once a month and finishes up at 9pm. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, I've decided to come back with my family. The staff and owners were incredibly helpful and inviting I cant recommend this site enough.

Beautiful site, impeccable amenities and the owners are so helpful and friendly. they have thought of so many helpful little extras and the River on site is stunning and great for a dip on a warm day. Highly recommend.
