Small little beach with x2 ice cream shop and chip shop, also we're a few other shops but we didn't really look. Beach is tucked away at the bottom of the hill. There is a car park nearby within walking distance which is a display carpark. Can imagine it could get busy in season as it seems like a nice local little village beach. Perfect for a little walk and family plot for the day.

A beautiful little harbour and beach. A great starting destination for a circular walk of the coastal path. Nice coffee ☕️ shops with lovely cake 🎂

Small seaside village. Good walks along the coast on west coast path. You can access Gorran haven beach which is in the village sea front and Vault beach, a bit further away. There is a fish and chips shop with very good food and with good reviews. Good sized car park available in the village sea front.

August 2025 Update: Visited the beach again today. In terms of the beach not a lot has changed. Still a lovely large and sandy beach ideal for paddling, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking or simply making sandcastles. Toilets nearby and a range of cafes and restaurants right on the beach as re also handy. The car park, just up the road from the beach, charges £2 for an hour, £4 for 2 hours or £6 for 3 and over. There are other fees for overnight, motorhomes and motorbikes are free. However the kiosk appeared to offer a price of £5 for the day which seemed to contradict the machine price. It's probably best talking to the kiosk to ensure you get the best price for your requirements. @familydadventures ------ Lovely large sandy beach with a good sized car park, public toilets and a couple of fab cafes on the front. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained! My girls had a great time in the early evening here when the beach was fairly quiet. I imagine in a hot sunny day this place would be packed from the early hours so best to get here early or wait till the evening. Didn't see any lifeguards on this beach and people were swimming, body boarding, paddle boarding and sailing all from the shore. The beach is easily large enough for all of these activities to take place at the same time. The car park has a normal operation charging rate but we noticed that the machines had been covered up and new rates set for tourists this summer. Payment had to be made at the cabin by the entrance. Whilst this may seem annoying, the £2 an hour or £5 for the day isn't that bad at all.
