Just returned from a 10 night stay at Crantock Parkdean. I'd just like to start by saying how incredible AJ - the entertainer is! When we arrived we were underwhelmed by the lack of space in the entertainment area. No stage or dance floor compared to other parkdean resorts we have stayed at. That didn't stop AJ! Our holiday would not have been the same without his thriving personality. On arrival our caravan was lovely and clean, all windows open to bring in some fresh air with the lovely view of the sea. The only downside was a huge bogey on the curtains from the previous occupants. Unfortunately when washing up the glass cups provided in the caravan it was extremely fragile and shattered in my hand causing deep lacerations to my hand. Worth taking caution when washing these. Also worth taking into consideration that if you order a gin and lemonade you have to pay per 'dash' of lemonade. If I wanted a full glass and not half it was costing me £12+ for 1 double gin and lemonade with 2 'dashes' of lemonade. I did approach the bar to question this but was told its per certain ml of lemonade you pay for so I resorted to not ordering the spirits and instead went for the alternative option of a bottle of cider as it was full and worth the money. The beach is absolutely stunning and a short walk from the park. It makes up for the lack of swimming pool on site on sunny days but can be disappointing on rainy days. Other reviews of the narrow roads are correct- we had to reverse a mile down the road at one point because there is not enough space for 2 cars. The WiFi /signal is terrible and although we didn't need our mobile phones because we were so busy, it was difficult to plan day trips out away from the park because it was taking minutes for each page to load. There's a lovely pub by the entrance of the park which is amazing, really friendly staff and fair prices. We visited a few nights during our stay. I'd reccomend booking a table during busy months as it does fill up. I could go on and on but overall I we won't be returning to this particular park. We will return to the beach but unfortunately I do feel as though other parks have a lot more to offer. Thank you for our 10 night stay and to AJ!

Me and my 3 friends stayed at Parkdean Crantock for 4 days and 3 nights and honestly had the best time! The location is great, it’s close to the beach and only a short drive into Newquay so it was perfect for us. The park itself is peaceful and had a lovely atmosphere. I’d say it’s better suited to couples or groups rather than families with young children, but that’s just based on our experience. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had a small issue during our stay but the staff and security were amazing. They dealt with it so professionally, made us feel completely safe and checked in on us afterwards, which we really appreciated. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better few days away. We’d definitely come back and just wanted to say a big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable!

First visit to this excellent relaxing location - i will definitely be back later this year. The views are stunning and the caravans are sublime. There are many beaches aren't that far away, with crantock beach being within walking distance. The first big bonus is the park being very much dog friendly, with my dog being gifted some treats on arrival. The tranquil location is simply perfect, and with a londis in Crantock vilage, and some lovely homes it just petfect. Being single, i didn't check out the onsite entertainment. However, as I intend to book a return visit later this year, I really do think that i have found my happy place

Myself and my partner stayed for a few nights in a beautiful sea view caravan, directly opposite the play park. We went and got the keys for the caravan we were staying in, and the receptionist gave us a map and directions to our caravan - an ABI Windermere. Upon trying to unlock the door, we noticed the lock wouldn't budge, but that was fixed with a quick trip up to reception. Maintenance came straight out and fixed the issue pretty much straight away, which was great. This caravan directly faces the coast, and there isn't much by way of trees etc to stop the sea air getting at the locks and jamming them up. I want to stress that this is in no way a fault of Parkdean's at all - it is just the way it is. We stepped into our caravan and were greeted by a fresh, clean smell. Everything looked as it should. This caravan has a more traditional layout but is nonetheless more than ideal for our needs. This caravan was not an owned one, so all the decor is stock as the caravan would have been sold. As to be expected for Cornwall, our mobile signal was very spotty. However, one feature made a great difference here - in-caravan WiFi! Available via Wifinity, this was a fantastic service and really sets Parkdean ahead of the game. It was around £17 for four days WiFi and we were able to connect up to ten devices. This was amazing for us! It meant we were able to plan our Cornwall adventures without having to trek elsewhere, listen to some radio as we got ready for the day and really enhanced our experience overall. I can't overstate the attentiveness of the staff, as well. They were so lovely! On our second day, the lady in reception came by to ask if everything was okay, which I really appreciated. Maintenance were also really quick to come out to the couple of issues we had. Aside from the initial issue with the door we had, we discovered one of the balcony doors wouldn't lock. Maintenance were out in a flash and really quick to fix the issue. It assured me that our safety was a priority to the staff. Overall, I am very pleased with our experience on the Crantock Beach Holiday Park. I felt safe, the caravan was spotless and we had a beautiful view.
