Larch Cottage

Larch Cottage is a terraced cottage down a quiet lane in Kirkmichael, sleeping three across two bedrooms. Downstairs there's a living and dining room with an open fire, a kitchen with electric cooker and washing machine, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, one double bedroom and one single bedroom share access to a separate toilet. The cottage retains its traditional character while being fitted with electric heating, Wi-Fi and all the basics—bed linen, towels and electricity included.

The real draw is location and access. The Cateran Trail, a 64-mile circular walk through forest and farmland, runs past the door, threading through Blairowrie, Glenshee, Glenisla and Alyth. For quieter days there's an enclosed lawned garden across the lane with seating and a decked area by the cottage itself. One dog can stay free. Kirkmichael village has a shop, café and pub within walking distance; Pitlochry and Blairgowrie are under 13 miles away. No smoking indoors. Private parking for one car is provided on site.
