Boreland Farm Cottages - Boreland Farm Cabin
Perth and Kinross
View on Google MapsBoreland Farm Cabin sits on working farmland on the edge of Kirkmichael, surrounded by woodland and open fields with views across towards the Strathardle and Pitlochry Hills. The setting attracts red squirrels, deer, woodpeckers and cuckoos. The village itself has a shop and café, and is roughly equidistant from Blairgowrie and Pitlochry, each about 12 miles away.
The cabin is a single-storey property sleeping two in a double bedroom, with a shower room, open-plan living and dining space, and a separate sitting room. Everything is on ground level. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer is shared with the neighbouring property. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered, and there's parking for two cars on site. A pub is within a mile's walk.
The surrounding area is strong for walking, with over 10 miles of waymarked paths around the village and access to the Cateran Trail, a 64-mile circular route through the Scottish Highlands. In May, the Caledonian Etape brings cyclists through the region; in autumn, the Enchanted Forest is nearby. This is not a property for children or group celebrations.
