Perthshire offers considerable scope for outdoor pursuits, from hill walking and fishing to golf, and several attractions sit within easy reach of Oakbank Cottage. The Pitlochry Festival Theatre draws visitors interested in drama and performance, while Edradour Distillery—Scotland's smallest traditional producer—operates from a working farm. The Enchanted Forest functions seasonally and draws families in October. For something different, the salmon ladder at Pitlochry's hydro dam is straightforward to visit, and the region supports numerous golf courses of varying standards.
The cottage itself is a one-bedroom property sleeping two, with all rooms on or near the ground floor. A fully fitted kitchen with electric cooking, dishwasher and washing machine occupies the ground level alongside a bedroom with a kingsize bed and a bathroom offering a bath and shower. Upstairs, a sitting room with a skylight provides a quiet retreat. Wi-Fi is included; the essentials such as bed linen and towels are provided. A gravelled area with garden furniture allows you to sit outside, and parking for one car is available on-site. The cottage operates as a standalone unit with its own entrance. Smoking is not permitted.
Babies in arms are welcome, but older children cannot be accommodated. Check-in is from 16:00 and checkout by 10:00.
