Pitlochry sits in the heart of Perthshire, surrounded by hills and glens with walking, fishing and cycling on the doorstep. The village itself has restaurants, shops and a theatre, plus the salmon ladder at the dam and Edradour Distillery nearby. Perth is a short drive away if you want city attractions like Scone Palace and Huntingtower Castle.
Oakbank Servant's Quarters is a converted ground-floor and first-floor space sleeping two in a king bed. Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen and living area with a wood-burning range still in place from its original use; upstairs, a bright bedroom with a skylit staircase leads to an ensuite shower room. The kitchen has what you need to cook proper meals. Wifi, heating, linen and towels are included, and there's parking for one car on site plus a private gravelled area with garden furniture. The property is non-smoking.
The cottage suits couples looking for a quiet base to explore Perthshire, whether that's golf courses, the Enchanted Forest in October, or simply the local pubs and walks. It's far enough from the main bustle to feel like an escape but close enough that the village centre is on foot.

What a remarkable escape to Scotland! The cottage was perfectly located for walking into the town, less than 10 minutes with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Kate and Lyn were amazing hosts, arranging to pick us up at the train station and even taking us to buy groceries since we didn't have a car. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and they thought of every convenience, including having book reading lights available in the bedroom. Highly recommended!

Lovely spacious apartment for a couple with all amenities, with the apartment just a hop skip away from many Pitlochry attractions. My host was on hand and welcoming. A lovely spotty sit in the sun just out side. Annette

Loved my stay at Oakbank Cottage! Perfect location for walking holidays in and around Pitlochry. I had 6 nights on my own here for a solo walking trip and location, comfort and facilities could not have been more perfect. Ideal for accessing all walks in Pitlochry as well as the train station, you don't need a car which for me is perfect! Would recommend and will be back.

I stayed in Elmwood East for a month and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—quiet but still just a short walk to shops, cafes, and the train station. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a longer stay, with everything I needed to feel at home. The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. I especially appreciated the lovely garden—a peaceful spot to relax with a book or a cup of tea. The views from the windows were of the hills around Pitlochry, and I really enjoyed being able to go for walks right from the doorstep. The host was responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I’d happily return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing base in Pitlochry.
