About Willows Bed & Breakfast

Willows Bed & Breakfast occupies a modest terraced property on Atholl Road, right in Pitlochry, with just six rooms giving it the feel of a compact, personally run guesthouse rather than a large hotel. Being adults-only, it tends to suit couples and older travellers looking for a quiet base rather than families.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, free WiFi and drinks available in room, and breakfast is included to set guests up for the day. There's a garden to sit out in, free on-site parking, and 24 hour reception for flexible arrivals. The style is simple and comfortable rather than luxurious, with the emphasis on a friendly, straightforward stay.

Pitlochry golf course is close by, and the surrounding area is well suited to walking, cycling, fishing and horse riding, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment all within easy reach. It makes a practical, well-placed spot for exploring Perth and Kinross on foot or by bike.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Willows! Our family appreciated the homey feel & how supportive Murray & Deborah were with local recommendations & getting us started each day with healthy breakfasts. Rooms & facilities were spotless & comfortable as could be! Can't say enough good things about our time there - would definitely stay with them again!

We are just back from a 3 night stay at the Willows cottage in Pitlochry. From the moment we arrived we were impressed! We were greeted by Murray the owner and he was the nicest, most pleasant person! Perfect host! The main house which is B n B is gorgeous and our little cottage behind the main house was just fab! So clean and comfortable and in very peaceful surroundings. It has its own little garden, a good sized, well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, little bathroom with a large shower and a huge bedroom with the biggest most comfiest bed!! 😀 Loads of storage too. There were also some tasty treats left for us in the kitchen! Thanks! 👍😀 We loved it! The Willows is at the top end of the main street, Atholl Road, so perfect for the many cafes, restaurants and bars Pitlochry has to offer. Its perfectly placed for visits to the Fish Ladder, Blair Athol distillery and many walking routes, beginning at the river Tummel. All in all the Willows is the perfect place to stay for a comfortable, relaxing break and we would highly recommend it to anyone! We are already planning a return visit next year! Thank you Murray and Deborah, see you again in 2026!! Erica and David 😀

The Willows is a delightful place to spend a few days in and around Pitlochry. We took an instant shine to the hosts, Murray and Deborah, who are astonishingly kind and welcoming people that we found very endearing and highly helpful throughout our stay. They clearly work hard to maintain the house and grounds and this shows - the rooms are incredibly clean and the gardens are in immaculate condition with much thought given to the preservation of local fauna and sustainability which we appreciated. The room was a generous size, the location was ideal, the breakfasts very tasty, and the price was good value. As an added bonus, Murray, ever the genial host, procured for us a free drinks coupon for a local restaurant which we were able to benefit from today over lunch. All in all, an excellent stay. We will be coming back when we're next in the Highlands.

We stayed at Willows for 3 nights in late October and we couldn't have picked a better spot in Pitlochry. This picturesque Victorian villa was a short walk from the train station, and an even shorter walk to Blair Atholl Distillery. Our room and en-suite bathroom were both impeccably clean and cozy, and they were furnished with special touches like local chocolates, biscuits, and bath products. We were given an extensive menu to choose from for breakfasts the night before, and every option we chose was perfectly delicious and served piping hot by Deborah. Don't miss the yogurt parfaits with berry coulis or the local orange marmalade in the dining room! Deborah and Murray were the best possible hosts. Thank you for making this such a wonderful and memorable trip to the Highlands.
