Stayed here for the Easter weekend with my partner and our 10 year old daughter. Lovely visit. Well looked after by Karen and her staff. Karen was fantastic with our 10 year old daughter and gave her an Easter egg as we left too. Breakfast was fantastic too. Plenty of options. Would stay again if in the area. Hope says hello

Just spent two days with my mum and my husband at the Arcasaid hotel, Karen the manager was fantastic, friendly , very helpful, organising a taxi to take us out for dinner as a bit far for my mum to walk . Rooms very comfortable and absolutely great value for money , breakfast superb and staff all very attentive,, lovely comfortable lounges to relax in and have a drink, very handy for the shops, bars, restaurants and I would highly recommend Fern Cottage for eating and close to hotel. Overall we had a lovely weekend and thanks to Karen for going out of her way to be welcoming and friendly, mum loved her.

My husband and I spent one night for our Christmas getaway (something we do every year), first time at this hotel. On arrival, looks lovely, receptionist (didnt get her name) was nice and welcoming and always offering service. The young girls working in the restaurant, who never stopped, constantly asking if we needed anything, really couldn't fault them. Unfortunately the hotel manager KAREN could not be seen in this same light. While my husband was in the shower the water turned off, although we thought this was funny at the time we still needed a solution with him covered in soap and no water to rinse off. I made way to reception and met the receptionist who could not apologise enough and tried to solve this issue- mean while shouting for a woman called Karen. While waiting for Karen, the receptionist explained she has a room upstairs and can offer a bathrobe for my husband, I explained it isn't ideal with being covered in soap and walking through a hotel, to which she agreed. At this moment Karen came to my attention with her whole demeanor quickly changing the atmosphere, the situation was explained to her and I was giving the question "well what do you want me to do about it?" I then asked her "well what can my husband do who is currently standing in a shower cube covered in soap and no water?" Her reply was, well I can phone a plumper but it is a sunday?.. at this point I had to call out her disrespectful, unprofessional manner. I stated her attitude was not going to help this situation to which she argued back at the reception desk she did not have an attitude, rather than apologising. With no other comment made by Karen I turned my attention to the receptionist who generally wanted to help to be provided my with a bathrobe. When entering my room again the water slightly came back on to which my husband was able to rinse. Breakfast- well if a good vet was served the grill, I reckon a life would of been saved.
